Often the width of table cells is to small to display all
of the cell contents. The user has to use scroll bars
or make the cell wider (if possible) to see the whole
cell label.

This is unconvenient. A prominent example is this:
Suppose I have an operation

Partition(maxCpuRatio:int, maxMemory:int, r:Runnable)

in the "Operation" section of a class table. Now in
most cases, the "Signature" cell is to small, so I
have to resize it manually.
This is nasty, in particular when I don't want to
edit the cell itself, but only want to know its
content so I can add a second constructor:

Partition(maxCpuRatio:int, maxMemory:int)
