I observed that GDE.exe tries to allocate always very huge graphics surface (1280 x 1024) even if this is not needed, i.e:
screen resolution is lower then (1280 x 1024)
Application main window is not in the fullscreen mode.
Additionally, in some circumstances, on the dual monitor system, GDE.exe tries to allocate graphic surface for ALL virtual desktop. On my box it is 2720 x 1024, which produces "out of graphics resources" error. Nevertheless, the App continues to work properly, because such a huge surface seems to be NEVER put to use.
